Sunkatchers RV Park Cooperative
Information for Prospective Members
We invite you to tour Sunkatchers RV Park Co-op in the beautiful Similkameen Valley. Our adult oriented park is located 13 kms west of Keremeos (the fruit stand capital of Canada) alongside the Similkameen River. This southern tip of the Okanagan Valley offers fishing, swimming and rock hounding opportunities, horses, wineries, magnificent scenery and wildlife such as shaggy mountain goats and bighorn mountain sheep. Several golf courses and Apex Mountain ski hill are in the vicinity. Sunkatchers is a registered Co-operative consisting of sixty shareholders. A membership share price is $10,000 + $15,000 contributed capital = $25,000 required investment. As a shareholder you will have the use of an RV site (approximately 48’ x 60’) for as long as you remain a member in good standing. Maintenance fees subject to change are currently $120 per month. They cover the ongoing expenses of Park property taxes, utilities and maintenance of the common areas, water, sewer, garbage and telephone (free long distance to Canada and USA). Members are responsible for the property taxes, electricity and propane costs on their assigned site. Members can access Wi-Fi, Satellite TV, and Cellular services. Travel trailers, 5th wheels, motor homes and park models are accepted into the park. A former residential building is now our clubhouse. The old store is now our billiards, library and exercise room. There is a workshop building and a washroom / laundry / office building. Our Co-op Rules as defined in our Certificate of Incorporation must be read before making a commitment. We highly recommend a personal visit to the park to experience the beauty of our surroundings and the friendly atmosphere created by our members. You will be shown around and interviewed by our Membership Committee who will be happy to answer any questions. Sunkatchers RV Park Co-operative Board of Directors Revised
